Getting outdoors and enjoying great art is what the Art In Parks program is all about. With over 91 pieces of art in 24 parks throughout the Greater Houston area, you can tour the parks looking for each work of art like a scavenger hunt. The easiest way to find the art is to use your cell phone by visiting www.houstonparks.org/ArtInParks, then selecting the “Art In Parks” map. You can also pick up a free Art In Parks map from the City of Houston Visitors Center located in City Hall, an HPARD Community Center, or a Houston Public Library. One of my favorites is the Tolerance piece at Buffalo Bayou Park.
