Head to Discovery Green today from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. to learn the basics of kayaking and paddle boarding. Offered by Bayou City Adventures, these classes are inexpensive and a great way to see if you might want to pursue either activity further. Kayak rides are $5 and are 10 minutes long with instructions on paddling.
- Children must be signed in by a parent or guardian, no exceptions.
- Parents, you don’t have to ride if you do not want to. You have the option of hiring one of our professional guides to go with you or your children.
- Maximum weight capacity in the kayaks is 325 pounds. This will include all individuals that’s in the kayak.
- The Cost is only $5 per person.
- Each ride consists of 10-15 minutes.
- You can learn about paddling and enjoy all the beautiful fish swimming in the lake.
- NO RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. Just show up and have fun!
